Registration Information

Please note, that we admit no more than 15 students per test. Online registration will be opened 2 weeks (English) / 4 weeks (Spanish) prior to the test date, it is not possible to sign up for a test before registration opens.

You can sign up online for the individual dates. Registration is not necessary for this. Online registration is usually activated 4 weeks (Spanish) or 2 weeks (English) before the respective test date. Registration is not possible beforehand. Please fill out the form carefully and provide your correct email address as important information will be sent to you by email.

The certificate will be sent to you approximately 14 days after the test. If you need the result sooner, please let us know.

Note: If you are already studying English or Spanish at the University of Cologne, you may not need the DAAD certificate. Please contact your Sprachpraxis lecturer, if you are taking any Sprachpraxis classes in the current semester. This only applies to studies that include a mandatory Sprachpraxis modul.

Your registration for one of the dates listed is only binding once you receive written confirmation of your online registration by email from one of our staff members. If you do not receive a response to your registration, you must urgently contact us. If you are no longer able to take part in the test for any reason, please contact our staff immediately by email (sprachlaboruni-koeln.de). This means your place can be given to students on the waiting list. If you do not show up without first deregistering, we may exclude you from further testing.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer individual tests and kindly ask you to refrain from requesting additional test dates via email.
