Registration information

Please note that the number of participants per date is limited to 16 and that you should apply for a free date approx. 1-4 weeks in advance.

You can register for a place online under the individual dates. Registration is not necessary. Online registration is usually completed 4 weeks (Spanish) or 1-2 weeks (English) before the respective test date. It is not possible to register before then. Please fill out the form carefully and enter your correct e-mail address, as important information will be sent to you by e-mail.

The certificate will be sent to you approx. 7-10 days after the test, if you need the result earlier, please let us know.

Note: For students who are already enrolled in an English or Spanish degree program at the University of Cologne, this test is usually not necessary. You will be asked to contact your language practice lecturer. This applies to all degree programs in which a compulsory language practice module is currently being taken (i.e. not for e.g. 1-subject or 2-subject Master English Studies or the Master North American Studies).

Your registration for one of the dates listed is only binding once you have received written confirmation of your online registration by email. If you do not receive a reply to your registration, you must contact us urgently. If for any reason you are no longer able to take the test, please contact our staff immediately by email (sprachlaboruni-koeln.de). Your place can then be allocated to students on the waiting list. If you do not show up without canceling your registration in advance, we may exclude you from further tests.

We kindly ask you to refrain from making appointment requests that deviate from the specified dates.
